My friend Ian from the Philippines took me for a very special adventure just outside of Manila in a play called Tagaytay city. We woke up at the crack of dawn to beat the crazy Manila traffic so we could make it over to Tagaytay City just in time for breakfast. Upon arrival, we tested out some delicious food options and a milkshake and then went to the back of the restaurant to see incredible views of the volcano! Continue your adventure outside of Manila and visit the "Summer Capital of the Philippines", Baguio City. Many tourists and locals go to Baguio City to enjoy the fresh air and pine trees and escape from the hot weather. The cool breeze it offers proves why Baguio is the summer capital of the Philippines and the temperature is much cooler than in other parts of the country.

Its too traffic there now a days. I wont recommend it. Been there last December and traffic is worst than manila.

When roaming downtown Baguio, there’s no need to ride in a car. It’s more fun to walk since it’s a Spring weather and there’s no sweat.

The Philippines is one of the most unique countries in the entire world from beautiful white sand beaches to magnificent views, restaurants, malls and hotels, and serves global cuisine. No reason to feel homesick here it's like your home. 🤔😊

At home you open the canned corned beef, at Antonio's they open the canned corned beef for you and then cook it, hahaha. You should've tried the hot chocolate made of special cacao seeds. Heavenly! MASARAP (Tasty, delicious) and inexpensive,

You should and must visit other tourist destination like Cebu, Boracay, Bohol Mr. Mac...there's a lot of beautiful island in Philippine archipelago... Yes, that has been an active volcano, I hiked to the very top of it back in 2018. You could feel the ground warm, and at some parts smoke coming out of it.

Ian is such a good friend to you. Breakfast at Antonio's is probably the BEST restaurant in Tagaytay. Personally my ultimate favorite! No trip to Tagaytay is complete without Antonio's. Next time, try their Pastrami sandwich!
