I stayed at a luxury capsule hotel in Tokyo, Japan for the first time (高級 カプセルホテル 東京). The name of the hotel is First Cabin (ファーストキャビン). You can choose either a Business Class or First Class cabin (ビジネスクラスまたはファーストクラス). I booked a first class cabin this time. I had a great experience different from a normal capsule hotel. This hotel sometimes offers limited time discounts. So, if you want to book at the cheapest price for similar trips in the future, It is highly recommended to visit the official website first.

☆★☆This is what it was actually like!☆★☆
--First Cabin, Japan-- (1st country)
* The front desk staff never smiles
* The room was more comfortable than the first class on an airplane
* By the way, I've never been in first class on an airplane
* Unfortunately I could hear all the outside noise because of the gap at the top of the room.
* Even though it's a capsule hotel, it's really nice to have a large communal bath
* I saw a lot of chairs and desks piled up in a vacant room by the staff.
* A muscular guy was always walking without wearing anything on his upper body
A challenge to visit every country in the world (196 countries)

It never fails to amaze me that even in budget hotels pajama's are provided. I understand the slippers as you have to remove your shoes, but it's still so thoughtful and practical. Also the locking drawer beneath the bed is a wonderful idea! There are times I miss Japan.......

Can only happen in Japan. Because even in cheap hotels, people there do not steal everything inside to take home. That's why they can afford to provide pajamas, because they only need to wash it, as opposed to giving it away to every customer.

Stayed in one of these couple years ago when i was in Tokyo. I had booked it for 4 nights but sadly after the first night i had to move to a different hotel. For those who needs a quiet room then this place is not for you. You can hear a symphony of snores around you and constantly hear people going in and out of their rooms throughout the night. The bed was incredibly hard and even for a Japanese bed this one was extra hard!

Exactly. Sanitize your hands when you come in...then share the most personal part of your life. I'm sure no one is spreading any germs around a toilet. I'd settle for a small toilet and sink. I just can't visualize traipsing down the hallway in the middle of the night if nature calls.

It looks really neat, though I don't know if I'd be able to pluck up the courage to use the bath. I've never been to a public bath before, they are incredibely rare here.

A couple months ago returning home fro Bangkok, I stayed in Tokyo two days just so I could stay in a capsule hotel. I love the ideas of these so much. Narita airport has one, but their waiting lounges are so much nicer than world standards that I never used it. I kept thinking about it and made a layover just to use one.

Always my choice of accommodation in Tokyo when travelling alone or when I need a bit of privacy from my travel mate. Love that it's almost always located so centrally. Really appreciate the super spacious and clean cabin, the lovely bathroom, the in-room amenities and the sense of safety it provides - well given that this is Japan we're talking about, so I always feel I was quite safe in my cabin during my stay, trusting that there would be no crazy neighbors bursting through my unlocked door or got my things stolen. The snoring neighbors and other noises through the gap are usually blocked out by my earphones, so never had any trouble sleeping there at all.

Thank you for your kind comments. As you said, this is an accommodation located between the hotel and the capsule hotel. Therefore, under Japanese law, it is classified as a simple dormitory and cannot be locked with a key, so security may be a concern. It's a smart idea to sleep with earphones on. By the way, you can get earplugs as an amenity at the front desk.

As I always have my in-ear earphones with me, guess that's why I never asked for earplugs! 🤣 Thank you for your comments and the video. It brings back a lot of good travel memories in Japan ❤

The thought of no real doors and no noise blocking is so weird.

I am so grateful that your channel ended up in my suggested list. I really appreciate your presentation - no unnecessary music to distract or continued talking. I hope to visit Japan one day and thanks to you, I will definitely be travelling via train and bus to see this beautiful country...of course, I'll be sure to collect a few ASMR chopsticks along the way 😊 Thank you for sharing your solo adventures! Please continue sharing your journeys 💕
