We would like to ``salute'' the Spanish designers and engineers who ``integrated'' a full-spec Aegis system into a ship of this size. The design is really clean and I personally like this ship. このサイズ感の船にフルスペックのイージス・システムを”統合”させたスペインの設計者、技術者に”敬礼”いたします。デザインが本当にスッキリしていて、個人的には好きな艦船です。

20 years old design and the F100 is still one of the world best war ships. The spanish company Navantia was pioneer on integrarion of the Aegis in a frigate, since it was usually installed in big US destructors of the Arleigh Burk class.

Hi from Spain. Good ship but.... No close-in defence weapongs as CIWS and no tomahawks. Just medium range missiles.

Wow, that's really odd. Clearly it isn't the cost of a CIWS system which is prohibitive for the Spanish. The Spaniards have domestic CIWS as well.

No, there's no such a thing like CIWS installed. In future they will buy Escribano auto-turrets. No one ship in Spain have CIWS of any kind. Just remote turrets and chaff flares for defensive use.@@cl4998

CIWs and Tomahawk can be installed in any moment. The F100 frigates are ready, as their Australian brothers, the Hobart class. Fortunately Spain don't need to waste money on that, for the moment.

From a world powers during middle ages to late 19th century, Spanish navy shrink to self defense navy. Relying on expensive American made weapons in return umbrella protection from NATO...😅
