Black Metal from Germany is one of the most beautiful especially with bands like Nargaroth, Agathodaimon, Nagelfar, Dark Fortress, Bethlehem and many others like them. Your cover is really great and this song from Nargaroth is one of those that got me into Black Metal, thank you Lykanthrop ! Edit: I wrote Ellende first and not Dark Fortress, I’ve fixed this mistake sorry guys but I didn’t remember Ellende was from Austria ://

I really wish there was a "breakout" Black Metal band from Germany. I would argue there really hasn't been one. What I mean by "breakout" is the recognition factor. Meaning, can casual BM fans instantly associate a BM band as being from Germany?

@@Kriegsbeil5577 i don’t know how casual Black Metal fans can easily recognize a Black Metal band from Germany, maybe we can recognize them for the atmosphere they give us through their music. You know when you listen to a Black Metal band from Sweden like Dissection, Lord Belial, Unanimated, Sacramentum, Naglfar, you can already recognize it it’s from Sweden because the Swedish Black Metal bands had always a melodic part in this music but every band have their own marks and that’s why we can all recognize them because they’re all different even if they’re making the same kind of music.

Ellende is from Austria if I remember correctly. And Agathodaimon only did Blackmetal in their demo days, imho.

@@klausherbert3040 That’s true for Ellende, I didn’t remember they’re from Austria thank you to remind me where they’re from i’ll correct that. But for Agathodaimon, they didn’t only make Black Metal for their demos but also for their first albums "Blacken the Angel" of 1998 and "Higher Art of Rebellion" of 1999. It was still Black Metal but more symphonic.
