Hi there. I am a licensed massage therapist and also certified in Manual lymphatic drainage!! Unfortunately we never get recognized for our therapeutic abilities. We need to change that!

What about getting treatment from a massage therapist? I hate that massage therapist don't get recognition as serious professionals too.

I ..had *edema* on ...my ...arms & legs... but.. they ...are *completely gone* now... after... using... some ...herbal... products..., but ...thanks.. to *Doctor iyhere on youtube* he... made... it.. possible

I have stage 4 lymphedema ( the worst ) in my legs. I saw a PT and all she did was order compression bandages and gave me a exercise sheet for sitting or laying down . Is this the right thing to do or should I see another PT that does more like MLD massage?

Hello, Kris. As we are unable to give medical advice via social media, we would recommend further discussion with your PT. If you are not comfortable with your treatment, you have the right to get a second opinion, or to find a PT where you are comfortable with your treatment plan.

@@providenceswedish Thank you for the reply. I understand that you can't give information and I just thought I'd ask . I am going to talk to my Dr. and see what other options or Dr's I should see.My right foot and calf area is getting huge . Definitely going to try and get a different PT. I have always wondered if you need to see a vascular Dr or a Pediatrist too ? I guess I'll find out when I talk to my Family practitioner. Thanks again Swedish.👍😊
