Lydia ,my sister your story is almost mine my late husband died when i was 35yrs left 3 girls. My in laws have never visited me. My God is faithful my two daughters are in Married in America with families. I visit them anytime I wish. I am a born again widow and very strong in Faith ..when people rejected you God's grace is sufficient..

This girl is my friend Lidiah Mungai. I know her personally what she's saying is true, I was in both Her wedding and burial of her husband. Glory to God . One day I will also share Mr story. What God is doing to Lydia Mungai is amazing and I know one day it will be my story❤❤

I see greatness in my daughter her dad refused completely to be her life,she mises fatherly love but she is strong,a form 2 who does well in school despite the school fees challnges,she always promises me good grade and improvement from previous tests,i see my daughter flying skys in Jesus name

You're not just an encouragement to widows but also to single mothers, and divorced women.

I've got to appreciate her voice, the confidence, she's a strong force to reckon with.

I understand her so well, I'm also a child of God... having gone through rejection from my relatives that i was born out of wedlock, also rejected in marriage also..it lead me seek God through alot of prayer's and my ministry was born.. I'm so much inspired by her story and to know when God is on our side who can be against us... Thanks Nyambura.

I was widowed at 26 years with 5 kids and six months pregnant of my last born!!! Our God is a God of Miracles 🙏

Was so low and this a wake up call to me as Carol. My dad left us 29 yrs ago and recently he passed on. Burial is tomorrow and can't make it as am sick. I had so much I wanted to tell as am 39 now....i hated men so much as I was daddy's gal. Thanks be to God that I got a man who has loved me so much that at times I feel I don't deserve him. He left without I saying to him I "have forgiven you daddy"But so sad he died in his apartment... All alone, he was just him n God..... I learnt from the age of 11 to always says I have a loving Daddy who will never leave nor forsake me.... It was my reminder every morning that my Heavenly daddy will never forsake me. So grateful to my mum that she stood with us and we are who we are because of her and her prayers... Rejection can heart badly and once one heals it makes one go beyond their imagination. Thanks Lynn for this episode, its so touching and giving hope to many, i lost my husband at 25yrs old, (2002). back to my parents with my girl. Its been a long journey and still believe God will one day settle us.

I real needed this encouraging message to keep me going. My daughter who is now 5 years old was rejected while she was in my womb,the father wanted her to be aborted but I refused and kept the pregnancy and now she is 5 and the father has never seen her or ask about her, I always pray for her to be strong girl and may almighty God bless her to be a blessing to others

I know Nyambura very well. She was my colleague same org, same unit and friend. She has been one of most hardworking and forward looking. Her love for her daughters is enviable

What an inspirational speech. I lost my husband in 2005 in a car accident. My son was 9 and my daughter 2. I lived for them and they are grown ups now. I just wrote my dream clearly and I know very soon I will land in Canada. Lesotho has been my second home with good and sad memories. I am highly inspired. Canada here I come. Thank you so so much Lynn for always making us change our mind set. We Africans do not want to exlore and miss out so many opportunities out there.

I love Nyambura's story. I love journalling but vision board, I am too afraid to fail. But even when I cant believe in myself, my Faith is that God can do it. Vision board and finally manifesting is my take away. ❤❤🎉 On a different note, I know we all want systems to work in Africa, relocation is not easy but living in a place where systems work is much easier in the long run, who doesnt want a better life after living in so much hardships. The reason why systems are working abroad is because they did not run in the face of problems but stayed to fix them. Nobody will do it for us, if we love our countries of birth, we will seek to change them no matter what. That's why I salute those who remain and fight the bad systems fearlessly. Its a price we need to pay, if your vision is to change Kenya not just change their personal situation. But I know most want a good life for their children away from broken systems, but don't trash what you dont attempt to fix. I salute those with a vision for a country to change, because at some point, there will be nowhere to run.
