Hello Lynn, thank you for your video! My best no-budget idea was: instead of buying containers I used shoe boxes and amazon boxes. I stuck pretty gift wrapping paper on the front and lid and used them for storage everywhere. It gave me a sense of whether or not they fit their content, how they fit on the shelf etc... and when I had the money I bought the perfect solution for the space in question and items to store. I still do this occasionally and I have a problem letting go of shoe boxes. I always keep 2 or 3, just to be safe 😅 greetings from Luxembourg 🇱🇺

You’re so kind. You don’t judge her and you most importantly, listen. You don’t come in saying they have to get rid of everything if that’s not what they want to do. I think that linen closet would look better with an actual door or even better as an open shelf with baskets. Just like the baskets you put in but solid shelves and painted the same colour. That curtain makes it heavy and dark and kind of obstructs the space.

After decluttering I had even empty drawers and shelves so I gave them away. There is so much room now and it's very easy to clean

That's what I have been doing all week is having a clear out got someone thus evening coming to collect for a charity shop. Cleaned out my summerhouse gave it a good clean hovered, washed the blankets,

Thank you for moving those brown towels over. My OCD was freaking out over them being with the white ones. 😂 Since there is still a white one with the brown I would put the white in the middle. It looks great!!!

I decided long ago that sheets with characters are ok if people gift them to us (new or secondhand) or when I buy them secondhand or on sale. That way the money we spent on them is way less. Eitherway, I do get sheets from other people or buy them secondhand. I can wash them at home. I don't have anxiety over secondhand things I can wash or clean very well before we use them. Now, secondhand items like matrasses or fabric couches, those I don't buy. Sometimes I get those type of things from family, but only if they didn't smoke inside and didn't have pets. That's because of asthma and allergies. Just my thoughts on secondhand sheets and saving a little money.

I would have chosen brown plastic bins instead of white, to match the baskets. The white ones are too stark for a hall closet in my opinion. But you did a fabulous job.

I love your video’s. That is all I have as far as sheets, towels. I want to trade out all my cups to beautiful glass coffee mugs. Unfortunately, that is where I went around my house. I went around my house and, really didn’t think about it and, I regret getting rid of a lot of stuff. Then I think well my house is better without so much stuff. Your hair is not that short. It is so cute. I miss my long hair. My stylist thinks I look better with short hair. 😢. Oh well.

Hey friend! I sure would :-) so, I would suggest finding a small area to Declutter that way it can set up the momentum until you are more comfortable to really get in there and tackle some big projects. If all of the projects are big, then I would dedicate some time And grab your trash bag and or bins and just start slowly but surely going through it. Turn on your favorite movie or listen to a book and or have a friend and I’m telling you it will go by so quick.
