One of my longest uploads to date, hopefully it’s easy to see why. Lynx 57 was new to Arriva London as DW55, and was one of 7 acquired by Reading Buses in 2016 for the ‘Silver Stars’ school fleet. All were repainted and tidied up, but this one was fully refurbished trialling new features and a facelifted front. At Reading it was 530 reregistered as X100RDG.
Lynx acquired the bus in 2019 with most of the others, predominantly for school work but they can be found in public service too. It was repainted into their standard red in 2020, initially carrying heritage plate UWW3X, but now back to the original as of 2024, having recently received a donor engine from a Sanders Lowlander. An all round superb bus, hope you enjoy!
