Thanks! I have a couple ideas for some more informational videos I’d like to do, but I think they will require someone to use the camera. I’m sure I’ll figure it out.

Thinking about doing the same track as you with the igrips as I live the 2” for off trail but would live a little more grip on. What is your ending gearing/clutching setup with that track? Wish you had more videos of you riding and testing and stuff.. this is soo interesting to watch. They say the driveshaft is different on the 24 and it’s 30% easier to do a track swap. Have you seen the 24’s? Wonder what they did or if they changed drivers or gearing etc.. thanks again for any info. Keep it up

The driveshaft on the 24 will be like the Ski Doo gen 5 driveshaft that goes in a carrier in the chaincase…. Do a little research. It’s not necessarily an improvement. There have been some reliability issues. To answer the gearing question, I think I’m at around 2.13 or one tooth up from stock if my memory is correct. There are a lot of trade offs playing with the gearing on these things. They don’t have as wide of a useable range as the old 800etec. What works for me may not be the answer for you.

Do you think you can put the brutal track on a expedition Extreme ? Do you need to re-clutch ? Do the transmission on the extrme with take the abuse from 2.4 lug

Do you think the XTerrian brutal with the open hood for radiator eats up too much snow ? I’m battling with the concept of closed hood vs open hood. Usually just leads to problems with snow build up in older models

I don’t have issues with my 600r expedition and the open hood. I have a Brutal ordered for next season so I guess the best answer is “Stay tuned for more information.”

Still able to cat walk though right? Just not as peppy as typical 850 etec in say a backcountry ?

Oh yes it still goes, just doesn’t have the initial snap of a Backcountry
