I get goose bumps and tear up everytime I hear this song.I dedicated this to my son years ago. This song holds so much truth and the things I hope I have been able to teach my son over the yrs as he will be 13 in 2 wks.Being a single mother and raising him the best way I know how and all the things we have been through has been rough but we have made it through it all.I hope one day he will know how much I truely love him and how proud I am of him for being such an amazing kid.I Love you Kelan!

@Undergroundhiphoop You may not believe in God but he believes in you. You are welcome to follow whom ever you wish to follow. We are brothers and sisters in heart, with music. Long live the gift of song. You are young. One day, I promise you, that you will see the light. God Bless you, young one.

Really great to see Gary and Ed playing. Billy looks into it, as well as a great showing from Leon and Artimus. Wow! What it could have been. It kinda gets to ya. Love Skynard!

Ed King was my neighbor many years ago when we lived on Lemona Street, Sepulveda CA. he was Strawberry Alarm Clock back then. Was a great time his brother Cassy was my best friend. Ed would have his music friends over and the GIRLS that accompanied the musicians. When you are a 12 yer old boy and all these Terrific young women with "bumps" in the right places what a time to grow up in southern CA.!!!!!!

Funny, had I seen this video without knowing when it was made I would thought it was 70s or early 80s

Oh how I would have given anything to have been at one of the Tribute concerts in 1987 when this video was made, but unfortunately I was in Germany with the Army and didn't hear about it until I happened on a video in our base PX jukebox, and then found the album in the store. Now the years have gone by, and Leon has died, so has Allen Collins, Artimus Pyle's a registered sex offender.....may those who have gone rest in peace.

Well, the name of the new album has to do with the taking of the basic constitutional rights that are being infringed on in the usa, or should I say the begining of the end of our rights.and yes unfortunately guns are made for killing, or self defense against those that would do us harm
