This caused me sooo much more feels than any other pony videos i've seen. I love it when characters don't speak or narrate stupid sob stories to try to make people sympathize, but rather convey emotions through actions and expressions. Words about someone's misfortunes or misery just don't cut it for me, instead, acts of kindness like this and a simple smile or hug is all it takes for a man's tears to start flowing.

Well, it can vary depending on the weight and type of apple. We'll assume red delicious, as those are the most common. Red delicious are an average of $1.34 per lb., and three apples is about 1 lb, so that's about $0.45 each. However, something we may have not considered is the apple economy of Equestria. I would imagine in a world where practically everyone is vegetarian, the demand for apples may be much higher than normal, causing the price to skyrocket. Same with cherries, where 1 bit used to be able to buy 1 cherry, before the price doubled. So for all we know, bits could be worth a lot of human money.

Tyg Rahof I like how Lyra in the end used her bits to buy the pony a violin, instead of greedily buying that overpriced scarf. It is rewarding to get the things you work hard for, but sharing your gifts and giving to the others is more rewarding due to you making a difference in the world by just relieving pain, sad memories and disappointment to others, by giving them kindness and hope.

+Georgia Wolf if you replaced every instance in the scene they get in slice of life of the phrase best friends with girlfriends, then the scene actually makes more sense. A lot of people think it's supposed to be a sort of tongue in cheek way of saying that their relationship is up to interpretation.
