To be honest, I think the chance of California building a high speed rail line is 0.1% - especially considering the current financial status of the state.

連沿申 地鐡到 San Jose (Silicon Valley BART ) 都講了無數年了。 聽說新計劃是2029-2030完工😊, 看吧!
@@user-td4ut6ck2t sure. keep lying to yourself. When you see everything from a biased lens, then don't expect your views to be objective. Do you think that any infrastructure projects in this world has no gains from certain conflicts of interest groups ? (hahahaaa.... that's exactly how it works in North America). hahaaaaa I live in North America. We sure know that no infrastructure projects are without profits to certain interest groups.
While whether US needs high-speed train is subject to cost-benefit analysis, 克里斯makes some very good points here indeed. The overall infrastructure in US stays at 80s or 90s I think, way too behind as a sophisticated and advanced economy. In my opinion, the vote-hunger politicians find these long-term projects help little with votes. The giant private enterprises find uncertainty about yields and returns. And the voters prefer immediate cash benefits from governments (States or Federal) rather than a sustainable growth in future, having the need to make present consumption sacrifice.
Hi Chris, hope you are doing well. I am wondering if you are staying in China with visa or PR card?
