There are a couple ways you can try to true up the vise jaw angle. Probably the easiest is to take a right-angle square or layout square and set one end against the vise jaw (on the inside between both jaws) and make sure the other side (perpendicular side) lays flat against the blade. If the teeth on the blade won’t allow the square to lay flush with the blade make sure the square and the blade are parallel. You also have to be careful not to move the vise jaws when tightening to the base once you set your angle. Although this saw is considered fairly accurate cutting, it still comes down to what tolerances you are aiming for. Even a CNC saw set-up will have a plus/minus tolerance. It should do fine as long as the steel is in the annealed state and is not hardened. The Metal Devil blades are not recommended for steel hardness above Rockwell C 25.
