כי אם העם היה מתנגד בגלות היו משמידים אותו. אבל זה היופי, עכשיו אנחנו לא בגלות, אנחנו אדונים לגורלנו...אבל עדיין מתנהגים בדיוק כמו בגלות. ועל זה הוא מחא וצעק. אגב, אף בן אדם דתי לא יגיד לך שהכל מסתדר ומתנהל בסוף, לפחות לא בלי השתדלות.

It isn't an Israely song. It was writen in paris years before tge declaretion of indepndecne. The goal of tge song was to remind the jewish agency that they can't give up on historicaly jewish land. When the mandate was given to the british empire, with the goal of buliding a jeiwsh state, it included both sides of the Jordan river. But then the brits decided to give 77%of that land to the Arabs and call it Emirate of Transjordan. The song is going agants that decision. The song doesn't call to attack Jordan, it is just a reminder that when you come to tgink of it, "Jordan is the two state "solution
