Contribution of East Bengal Regiment of Pak-India war in 1965: After catching up to China in the War of 1962, India continued to develop its military sector. Ayub Khan was a little worried about it. He thought that after the war, India was weakened, now it is time to understand Kashmir. So, he started sending the army to Srinagar. They quickly reached near Srinagar with the help of a local war walk tribes. But the occurs happened differently on September 6, when India was attacked in Karachi. Ayub Khan then fully surprised. He did not think that the problem of Srinagar would bring the international border to India. The whole Pakistan army then redirected Srinagar. First Punjab Regiment, then Baloch and most followed East Bengal regiment. But the game changed. As far as Lahore has to be protected, the force of the back is as advanced force. The East Bengal Regiment was important responsible for the protection of Lahore. On 5th September 1965, when Indian troops advanced to the Kasur and Lahore sectors, Indian Army chief of Staff Jayantanatha Chowdhury announced that he would drink the morning tea in Lahore the next day. The Bedian sector was the responsibility of the 11th Division Commander Major General Hamid. He measures to prevent Indian troops from BRB Canal area. But the Sectors were weak because 21 Brigade and a Baloch regiment were moved to Srinagar, the day before the war, 5 September. On September 6 Night 3.45, divisional headquarters the Indian Movement for some Rangers posts. It was clear that rangers' positions are no longer safe. Soon artillery captain East Bengal regiment information sent hundreds of Indian tanks and brigades' Indian troops to the East Bengal Regiment of an attack. Regiment chief Les. Colonel ATK Haque quickly called all officers. The soldiers of the East Bengal Regiment took a position in the Shellproof bunker with anti-tank weapons, mortar, machine guns, etc. In front of Indian large army and Shazoua fleet, the East Bengal Regiment have sold paltry its power. At 9 p.m., the Indian Army's 25 Cavillary, 5 Guards Regiment and 9 Jammu and Kashmir Regiment were attacked on the alpha Companies of the east Bengal regiment, 1st East Bengal Captain Ziaur Rahman (later led by the Bangladesh Army's Les. Gen.) Alpha Company developed a massive resistance. Indian army was not able to get up against the alpha company's little power. The situation of Indian Army becomes harassed as a result of absolutely effective and proper use of artillery. In the early hallucination of the war, India's hundreds of several army and 19 tanks were destroyed. It is noted that the Alpha Company of the East Bengal Regiment has gained the highest number of medals award. And 1st East Bengal Captain Ziaur Rahman (later led by the Bangladesh Army's Le) was getting the highest 2nd award The Hilal-i-Jur'at (Urdu: ہلال جرات‎ [ɦəˈlaːl ə dʒʊˈraːt̪], as if it were Halāl-e-Jurāt; The Indian Army was retreat for widespread damage in the face of extreme resistance. They were shocked how the Bengali army in East Pakistan was building resistance to those that were thought to be harmless and afraid. However, after almost several times the Indian army recaptured the attack. This time, artillery, all the infantry teams together attack on the entire Battalion of the East Bengal Regiment (whose nickname Senior Tigers). A deadly war erupted. The soldiers of the East Bengal Regiment were prevented by Vehement firing with lights and heavily machine guns from bunker, as the infantry forces of India came forward and tried to take bunker. At the time, the Indian Army came very close to the bunker, that time hand to hand war between two groups. The soldiers of the East Bengal proved their qualifications. Even at one point, the hand to hand war of Alpha Company took over a PT-76 light battle tank in India, which is now reserved in the Tigers Museum of the East Bengal Regiment. Habildar Tajul Islam can be given an example of how the soldiers of the East Bengal are harassed the situation of Indian forces with low power. Habildar of the East Bengal Regiment, Tajul Islam suddenly sees that an Indian tank is very near, it cannot be prevented. He was blocked an anti-tank mine in her chest and lied down under the tank. As a threat to the East Bengal Regiment, the tank destroyed like Habildar Tajul Islam sacrifice. This is how the battle of scrimmage continues, with the Indian Army moving slowly back. According to some sources there were 300 and 600 Indian tanks destroyed in the war. The attack by the Indian Army is not only being prevented, but it is important for Pak-India war to take over the Khemkaran area of the East Bengal Regiment. After the end of the war, the East Bengal Regiment was removed from the Khemkaran sector and was replaced by Pakistan's Punjab Regiment and the high command of the Pakistan Army. Punjab Regiment Khemkaran the aggression of Indian forces and Khemkaran Pakistan does not miss out. The heroic of the East Bengal Regiment saved the city of Lahore from the fall of finishing line due to its war. The soldiers of the East Bengal Regiment won almost award for the medal in the bravery of Pakistan Army.
