Me and my mother are back with ghar ki recipes series and this time she's making Gajar Matar ki sabji.
Winters aate hi Gajar ki demand demand badh jaati hai. Phir chahe woh gajar ka halwa ho ya sabji, it is loved by everyone.
And not just gajar ki sabji, we'll be making gajar matar macaroni which is my mother's favourite!

Ingredients:
For Gajar Matar Subji -
Mustard oil (सरसों तेल) - 5 tbsp
Cumin (जीरा) - 1 tap
Onion, Chopped (प्याज़) - 4 tbsp
Gajar, sliced (गाजर) - 3 cups
Green Peas (मटर)- 1 cup
Salt (नमक) - to taste
Turmeric (हल्दी) - ½ tsp
Chilli flakes (कुट्टी मिर्च) - 2 tsp
Coriander, chopped (धनिया) - a handful
Kasoori methi (कसूरी मेथी) - a pinch
Gajar Matar Macaroni using leftover Subji
Ingredients:
Macaroni Pasta (मैकरोनी) - 1 cup
Butter (मखन) - 2 tbsp
Garlic, chopped (लहसुन) - 1 tsp
Gajar Matar Sabji (गाजर मटर सब्ज़ी) - 1 cup
Salt (नमक) - to taste
Chilli powder (लाल मिर्च)- ½ tsp
Kasoori methi powder (कसूरी मेथी) - ¼ tsp
Water (पानी) - a dash
Milk (दूध) - ¼ cup
Cheese, grated (चीज़) - ½ cup
Coriander, chopped (धनिया) - handful
