Oh, Uncle Momo, there's not much use in speaking Spanish with Maneskin, because they're ITALIAN. Sorry, I don't mean to shout, but we Italians are super proud of them, and we wanna claim them. Please react to Torna A Casa to a lyric video with English translations next. You only get the full Måneskin effect when you read the translations while you are listening to the song. The lyrics are deep, meaningful and beautiful.

You might want to react to my current favourite Måneskin song, "Lasciami stare", a song not many reactors have done, so far. It's funky, fun and the message 100% Måneskin. As far as I know, there isn't a "proper" video for it, but a lyrics video with ENG translation.

I love the way you talk about their music leading you down a path with the story, this was really well put. Lovely reaction. I totally understand not wanting to have to read lyrics while reacting initially so I would suggest reading a translation ahead of he reaction rather than after. I think it helps to have a sense of the story in mind so you can marry this with the emotions being conveyed in the song. This isn't essential for all of the songs but some of the more complex stories such as Coraline, and Torna a Casa are difficult to grasp just by hearing the music alone, I think having a sense if the story will enhance your first reaction.

i will try that, but i would love you to also try it my way, find a song in a language you haven't heard before and all of your other senses kick in, its an amazing feeling, tell me a language you don't know and i'll find you a song to watch. respect for your comment

The å is like an ò as in the word "lot". The e is a shwa, written "ə" in many pronunciation guides. So it's Moh-nuh-skin

No need to apologise for not pronouncing well the name Maneskin becuase loads of people (even the band members) pronounce it frequently in an incorrect manner. Hi, Uncle Momo! Don't worry too much about the pronunciation, we get it wrong all the time in Italy as well, because the name is actually a Danish word (for moonlight), it should be pronunced like MAW - neh - skin stress on the first syllable. For the rest... yeah, maybe you can have a look at the lyrics next time, but just do what you genuinely like, it's what keeps us coming back... Thank you!

Some very interesting views: probably UK and USA bands don't bring the same emotional level? (not even close?) - this is something coming from a British point of view - a daring one - shall we settle to simply say Maneskin do top notch rock ballads? After all Italians have always been known around the world for great ballads. Also - appreciate the fact you are one of the few reactioneers who doesn't need captions nor the contents of the lyrics. I've appreciated most of my music without understanding the lyrics for most of my life - then I've learned English and still can't be bothererd about the lyrics (most of them anyhow).

Yes, but be gentle. They were teenagers when they made both, and they are playfully exploring fame and being rock stars (well before they truly became famous). They funded the video for Recovery with their own money earned through busking, and recruited friends from school into the video.

@@santinacavallaro1911 loro pensano ma ci sono e farebbero bene a considerarle soprattutto il latino visto che il 40 per cento dei vocabolario inglese è di derivazione latina.In ogni caso si tratta di provincialismo illinverso da cui il motivo parziale di certe " cafonerid;
