i had a stickers book with ferries for childrens when i was 4 years old , one of them was my favourite it was long and beautifull with its blue painted lines and then i was shocked that the ferry was the estonia i discovered this recently among my old books , i am from morocco and the amount of fatalities is so high that even two moroccan tourists died in the disaster

I was 7, just started school on 1 September in Riga, Latvia. I remember, one morning teacher said to class something about very bad ship disaster at Baltic Sea that happened during the night. Even though I was only 7 and had no chance to make further research, or even fully comprehend what exactly happened, this memory imprinted in my mind. I was thinking that while I slept in my warm bed, someone died in freezing sea, not too far away. I looked trough the class window, weather was very grim that morning...

God bless the passengers who tried to help others when she went to one side. And others who didn't make it. I have been interested in this wonderful ferry for a long time. And I hope the family's get answers. It been to long to be in pain.

My grandmother told me that the night Estonia sunk that she had a dream, that some people came to her and said the ship had sunk, and when she watched the news it had really happened. RIP to all the people that died that night and to her.

There was a Swedish friend I knew who’s grandad was on this ship in 1986.Back then she was called Viking Sally and was the most Renowned ferry on the Baltic for her timekeeping and safety. So sad RIP to all those who lost their lives on the Estonia 🇪🇪

Story Of M.S Estonia, Ms Estonia Sank In Due To Winds. To 30-20 Wind Speed, And Waves Were Like, 4-8 Meters. And The Visor Was Very Weak at That time, And The Visor , Could'nt Take The Strain Anymore and All Locks, Failed One-by-One, After All Locks Have Failed, The Estonia's Visor Flapped Around Damaging The Ramp And The Hull, After, 15 Minutes The Visor Fell Off, And Hitting The Bolbous Bow, Which Probably Made The Dent, To The Visor Section, After The Visor Fell, The Visor Pulled The Ramp Slightly Like Halfway, Tons Of Water, Gets Into The Car Deck, And, One Massive Wave, Hit The Ship, Thus, Throwing All The Water To One Side Which I Mean is The Starboard Side, Then More Water Began To fill The Car deck, and The Ramp, Fully Opened When Ship Listed 15,23 Degrees, Once The. Ship Actually Capsized, The Waves That Are Hitting The Ship, Is Actually Closing The Ramp, And Thats What Probably Put The Ramp, In Place In The Wreck, I Don't Think My Story/Theory Is Accurate, But Let Me Know If Its Wrong, Thanks For Reading The Story By the way,

the fair-weather rowing boats, which are supposed to save lives in an emergency, are more than ridiculous. After all, the worst possible situation must always be assumed, which means that bad weather and high waves must be expected and the passengers would be helpless in such a situation, let alone unable to let them into the water from a certain angle! in escape pods, like on the MSC Napoli, would be the surest way of saving lives for everyone on board REST IN PEACE. all victims of this accident🌹
