Suggested by FM acouple months ago,
This song was made in 1943, envisioning Japan bombing and occupying the United States capital as an invasion of the continental US. They sure make it very dramatic but it ended up never happening. The song's theme is very similar to "Bombing America" but as you can tell, there is much more to it.
By the way, I did not upload this intentionally around September 11th, it was a coincidence. It would be very fucked up to celebrate such a tragedy

Battotai was written when they fought against a rebellion of Japanese samurais. So it makes sense to have degree of respect. Plus this is propaganda for the public, whereas battotai is an actual army song.

@@darkwoods1224 Yes. Battotai lyrics says may friend and foe die under the (katana) blade, all those who have a Japanese spirit. ww2 lyrics is different, why would Japanese respect a nation that is seeking to enslave the Asian races, which the westerners saw as subhumans
