M113 v8 turbo engine is going in the new repainted engine bay
also this is insulated and ready for the engine

I’m thinking of doing this swap on my 124 coupe with either a 5.0 or 5.4 M113. I can do all the fabrication for mounts and stuff but I’m unsure of the wiring. What are your plans? I’m assuming you will run a standalone ECU but are you making a new wiring harness by yourself?

Yes im running a standalone . Maxx ecu race. With a custom wiring loom i will buy the loom kit with the ecu. But need to be made still on the car specific

Yes most standalone ecu's. These days support drive by wire . Ar least 1 sometimes also dual throttle body's

There are people claim 520whp. That is about 590-600 crank hp. This what i have seen online
