The Islamabad-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway (اسلام آباد - ڈیره اسماعیل خان موٹروے), also known as the Brahma Bahtar-Yarik Motorway, is a four-lane North-South motorway currently under-construction in Pakistan. The 285-kilometre-long (177 mi) motorway is being developed as part of the Western Alignment of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and will offer high speed road connections between the Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area, and the southern parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province around Dera Ismail Khan. The was originally planned to open at the end 2018, but due to delays, is expected to open in September 2021.

285 km length. New 4 lane motorway with 100m R.O.W acquired to upgrade it to 6 lanes in future.

Construction: Rs.110,208 million
Land Acquisition, properties compensation and shifting of utilities: Rs.11,973 million
Total: Rs.122,181 million
Construction
Pakistan's executive committee of the National Economic Council approved construction of this section of roadway in April 2016. while construction commenced in May 2016. Construction is expected to be completed by October 2021.
Construction is to proceed in five Packages:
Package 1: Yarik-Rehmanikhel section (Contract has been awarded to M/s NLC). 100 pc work completed 2021
Package 2: Rehmanikhel-Kot Belian section (Contract has been awarded to M/s SKB-KNK JV) 95 pc work completed including Indus river bridge and river kurram also completed 2021.
Package 3: 55-kilometre (34 mi) Beruli-Tarap section (Contract has been awarded to M/s FWO) 100 pc completed 2021.
Package 4: 62-kilometre (39 mi) Tarap-Pindi Gheb section (Contract has been awarded to M/s Limak-ZKB JV) 90 pc completed 2021.
Package 5: 63-kilometre (39 mi) Pindi Gheb-Hakla Interchange section (Contract has been awarded to M/s Limak-ZKB JV) 94 pc completed 2021
MotorWay M14 Route:
Groundbreaking ceremony took place in May 2016. The four-lane controlled access motorway will extend from the Hakla Interchange on the M1 Motorway, near Fateh Jang in Punjab, to Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
From Hakla, Fateh Jang, the motorway will extend in a southwestern direction passing the towns of Pindi Gheb, Tarap, and Mianwali. The route will transverse the Sindh Sagar Doab region, and cross the Indus River near Mianwali before entering into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The motorway will continue on wards before terminating near the town of Yarik, just north of Dera Ismail Khan.
At the southern terminus of the new Islamabad-Dera Ismail Khan motorway, the N50 National Highway will also be upgraded between Dera Ismail Khan-Zhob and between Zhob-Quetta.
