Mine is dated 1943 and is in great condition. Thanks much for this video. I didn't have any idea how it worked.

I just acquired a 1950 (mine is stamped 1951 US) Coleman stove which is pretty similar.. I ordered new cap and pump seals and redid it last night.. Hoping to shoot a video of a test fire today..lol Wish me luck !!

The US Army M-1942 was only manufactured by Aladin and Prentis-Weber.

Depending when the stove was made, say December it could have been paired with a canister made in January since they where made by two different companies

Hello sir, can I just pump and build pressure inside when the tank is empty? I'm trying to rebuild it, but I'm afraid of leaking so I'm not giving it any fuel just yet.

I have 3 of these. Does anyone know where I can get them repaired/refurbished? I need the pump assembly worked on.

Easy enough to fix Michael.. you can get all the parts from oldcolemanparts.com

@@MrBenryanuk It would be easier to have someone who knows more about the Stoves to do this.

@@michaelwight2289 of course, but then it’s a missed opportunity to learn something new :-)

Does it use kerosene

I use the white fuel in it but I think it would run on kerosene too
