No need for riser cable is a very big plus.

At 15 liters it wouldnt make sense using a riser cable.

You do need a riser cable if you GPU is wider than 142mm to install it vertically , otherwise it won't fit .

Unless you care about your motherboard's lifespan. All that heat from the GPU really cooks the M.2 area. Not to mention, I believe most motherboards have the chipset around there as well :) Try monitoring your chipset temps and see how toasty it gets when you dont use a riser cable

Hi, I want to go with Strix rtx4090 for the next build in M1EVO, and I think I'll mount the GPU vertically, and radiator for the CPU will be mounted at the top of the case. I'm curious, what's the maximum thickness for radiator+fans? Do you have any clue? Thanks~

I just ordered this case (ver 1.1). If I wanna do an air cooled ITX build my best bet is just copying your flipped air cooled build? Are there any possible/worthwhile improvements? I can't seem to find the Thermalright SS135 in Denmark. Any other cooler you would recommend?

Can I use vertical 3080 layout with SFX-L psu + itx mobo, 280 aio on top? If so can I also install a small rear case fan or do I lose access to that?

The only issue you might encounter is with SFX-L PSU. I've seen some users flip it side ways. The rear fan will work regardless. I think you be okay, though

How did you install the right fan bracket brace on the right side in the flipped config? I can’t seem to figure it out

I'm just talking a guess as to what you mean. You'll need to remove the black bracket from the other end of the panel and install it to the opposite end of the panel with silver standoffs to bridge the gap, with standoffs secured from outside with screws

JF13K performs worse than Thermalright SI-100, which is also worse than SS135

@vongdong10 why? The other coolers are better cooling solutions. JF13K is an expensive gimmick and not practical cooling solution

@L91 gamers nexus testing shows its a pretty decent cooler. Unless I see results, I doubt it could be worse than the sl-100 given the huge size difference.

@vongdong10 members of the SFFPC community have tested it and was either on par or a little worse than SI-100. It can also be impacted by the platform used for testing. GN even highlighted this in their recent statement about their upcoming revised methodology for cooler testing. Even if that wasn't the case, it is an impractical cooler in any case. If GN has tested it, then you have your answer already as to how it performs, relative to other coolers.

1:14 Did you drill a hole to lock the PSU on the upper right side ? Or just use the original hole on PSU

I removed one of the PSU fan screws and installed it through the case bracket as with my PSU, I was luckily enough for them to line up perfectly

@@RafnII because you cannot, the motherboard is in the way. Only side 240 radiator is compatible with mATX motherboards

@sgv8088 you have around 4 slots of width available, and tuf 3090 is 2.7, I believe, so only slim fans will be possible
