With the Nr200 classic being discontinued and the NR200 V2 being DOA, I can see the M1EVO being the next best in class SFF case. Extremely versatile to the point of being intimidating for some, very high quality, of course, being able to fit mATX. I find the pricing to be just right as well. Thanks for this video and looking forward to your custom loop!

This is what I was waiting for! My 7800X3D hits 83C in Cinebench R23 even with an EK 240 AIO with Noctuas on full blast. I was thinking of trying the Peerless Assassin

Awesome. One thing, those are fine temps for the 7800X3D, but see what happens if you dial down the cooler fans, most of the constraint is in the transfer at the IHS. In reality you are only dissipating ~70W so high fan speeds aren’t always helpful. I was comfortable running the U9S with this guy.

I hate the PSU mount so much. Why give the option for height but not offset? I'v got mine in the flipped orientation with a 280mm aio. GPU temps are around mid - high 60s at around 24c room temp.

The power supply mount is absolutely atrocious. SFX-L psu? Good luck getting a large GPU in horizontal position. You can go vertical mount, however, you lose all of the space for a good air cooler. Controversial idea: Throw the PSU mount in the trash. Mount the psu so the fan pulls in fresh air from the top.

@@salbadali3232 I'm using an SFX-L psu and that was a headache trying to fit with the stock cables. I tried to fit it on the motherboard side to fit more fans in the flipped layout and couldn't because of the stupid fixed offset and it wasn't a solid mount so it like swung off the front mount. I honestly regret buying this case as my first ITX build. I heard the NCASE M1 was one of the best so I thought the M1EVO would be too.

@@vongdong10 The M1 Evo has a new designer: the owner of NCASE/co-owner of FormD and co-designer of the T1, hence why there are some similarities with that case. I (original M1 designer) was not involved with the design of the Evo.

@@M1.Designer Ah no wonder why the M1EVO isn't as polished as the M1 V6.1. They fixed what shouldn't have been fixed.

My recommendation is to unscrew the fan on the power supply and fix those screws into the “radiator mount” at the top of the case. This is the only way I could get my build to work with air cooling.

For a custom loop 2x280 won't be possible right? Would love a custom loop in this beast like your previous builds. I mean side 280 & top 280 should be possible or am i wrong?

can you mount the 120 mm radiator next to the mother board on the back panel with an itx board.

I have some question : 1. Are tthe gap between the back of motherboard with the right side panel enough to install m.2 with tall heatsink or it just enough for bare m.2 2. Where do you put 2.5" SSD if you're using 330mm or longer card with this case?

But just wondering with the side case fans. Wouldn't they make more sense as an intake? It'd feed fresh air directly to the CPU

Typically (and this is situational) but you want to encourage intake at the bottom panel to help the graphics card, and if you’re side mounting, intake at the opposite side panel to help the rad (which is intaking). Exhausting from the rear panel or mobo side panel can help accomplish that, with this case it’s more powerful to use 2 120s at the mobo side panel.

Hi Guys, I have a x670ei in A4H2O and I am not very happy that the tiny chipset fan is super loud and the chipset is indeed quite hot there from what i can tell. Tried many methods, not really successful. Question: will i be able to have better cooling when i switch to potential m1 evo v2 (in regular layout with 4090 plugged straight into the board, using 240 aio on the side)?

your vertical gpu built is awesome, but im on a lian li h2o for my next built because is fuuu king simple, vertical gpu, all part easily accessible if problem, and we know we gonna have many problem and part to change for search what's part is the problem, just want thing i can open 5 time in 1 hour now

Much love for the H2O! If you are set on liquid cooling that would be the case to go for. Thermals are remarkable while being relatively simple to maintain and build.

They do flex for sure. I think with the T1 it’s ok because they’re smaller, but since the M1EVO’s are bigger it becomes an issue.

Great as usual. So compared to your initial review, do you think It is better to go air cooling instead? It seems the CPU temps can be 3 to 5 C lower where GPU temps are the same, even without bottom fans? Thanks! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/htVya9RixNLTl4U.html
