@@sksp9028 nope. I tried several things suggested by different videos... Nothings working out. I give up. I'm done with Apple products officially 🤣🤣 It's crazy because I really spent years (2-3 years) avoiding the software updates. I got bored and said why not just do it.. sure enough this happens.

Hi, I also had the same identical problem (black screen, but keyboard backlit are still on) and I've managed to fix it. Previously I was using a MacBook Air M2 13.6-inch with Sonoma 14.1.2. The problem lies in your "Lock Screen Settings" (System Settings - Lock Screen). Check your "Start Screen Saver" timer settings. If there's a notification that says "Display will sleep before screen saver starts," then you need to change it. Make sure your "Screen Saver" timing is set LOWER than the two settings below it (Turn Display off, Turn Display off on power, Require password

@@Fix.369 now that you mentioned, I believe Slack app is causing trouble to my Mac. It's a Mac air M2 but only 8gb ram. I will try using web app instead installing it. Thanks
