This guide is a general overview of the methods/materials I used to make my first Deadmau5 head. Feel free to ask questions, I'll do my best to answer them. Please share this video if you find it helpful!
I'll make a video going into more details about the materials in the near future. If you're going to attempt this project, I highly recommend planning as much as possible. Also, make sure you get all of the materials before doing anything major so that you know everything will work well together.
If I were to make another head I would use thicker el wire, a polycarbonate globe, and I'd probably actually wax the clear coat to give it an even better finish. My wooden ears were a bit too heavy, so if I were to work in wood again I would make sure to hollow them out as much as possible. Learn from my mistakes! :D

Ears are too close to each other and are supposed to have slight tilt but this is FuCKING AWeSomE!!

Hello, Can you elaborate on the measurements, your guide has been the best so far. I am having issues finding the middle. I am also having issues measuring the mouth. I need Help!

am yes hi aim making my own first one to and i whanted to ask can you use minor lights this that mount on the head and do disco when you click them 2 times can u use them for the eyes ?

im planning on getting my mau5 head proffesionally chromed at a body shop. if i prepped it like in the video, would the chrome stick?

worldcomedyproducts they would put a primer on that the chrome sticks to and it will cost a lot to get it chromed
