Had the same problem on my 520i Sad if the trans go this way Myn was serviced before with all new seals but the shop used the wrong bolt as the drain bolt plus it leaked a bit all the time and I didn't notice it So shortly after if got it the input shaftbaring went So thats whats broken on yours A very important recommendation on this is to use the right bolt in the bottom It needs to have a little magnet this way all the metal can't grinde an the gears and damage them further. Xado is great product! i have neen using their oils and additives to the engine ang gear box as well for about 20 yrs! Always works great! on thir web site they mention that thir product should be used on properly working nechanisms! that mean you have to add xado into good working gear box or engine. Regularly people get remainder from the gear bix or engine by its noices. Well it us alredy too late to use xado. repair it first and add xado later. You will get a good result after all.

If it gets too the point where you have to change the trans. You can go to the 6 speed being a zf or the getrag. I think the driveshaft may be different because it the bigger trans.

Check your parts numbers between 530 and 540 clutch kits a well as flywheel. As for the crack juice your putting in the trans. Lol. Marvel mystery is better. Never failed me for a valve tick and vamos noise. 🙌🏽
