Cool build and Video, I was a POG Cpl who was issued my M4 after becoming a rifle coach with the 13th MEU, I remember all my fellow NCOs being pissed that I received an M4 over them for whatever reason that the Armory blessed me with the M4, too bad it just sat in the weapons locker on the boat until those times we had to "clean it for an inspection" that never came. About 3-4 years ago, I built a semi-clone correct M16A4. I like to show it off to people to see how heavy and unwieldy a 20" barrel with that massive rail is, still super fun to shoot though.

6:53 I think the reason people are moving away from red navigation lights is because with night vision getting more available if you light up that red light someone with night vision will see you a long ways off.

Thats certainly a consideration but it has a very specific use and is primarily for interior structure use.

I just able to get a DD M4A1 for a crazy low price. I can't wait to get it pin and welded. Putting it on my LWRCI lower, it's a super tight fit.

I was a UH-60 crewchief in the 101st, "back in the day." We use to call those "retard officers," "desk jockeys"-- Because, they didn't fly with us regularly, didn't quite know what they were doing, and often made "unsafe decisions" (like flying in serious electrical storms), all so they could accumulate enough flight hours to qualify for their flight pay every month 😏

I couldn't find this Birdcage, your muzzle device seems longer than what I'm searching from Google, I want to clone an M4A1 block I with a surefire suppressor, but I don't want this gun to be too long, I see your muzzle device just fit the suppressor and the suppressor can go back forward like 1-2inches, just wanna know how to buy this muzzle device and fit the suppressor @@loneelement
