Honestly did not expect to cry to this one but the amount of times I’ve been softly rejected hurts so bad. Sometimes those hard rejections are easier because then you get to feel angry to cover the pain but with soft ones like this the love doesn’t go away it just aches

Honestly, this is exactly what I went through in October (minus the breakup). I prefer something like this over a harsh rejection where things get weird with the other person because that would mean that not only do I get rejected but also I lose a very good friend. And that, excuse my language, hurts like a bitch. Doesn’t mean that something like we have here doesn’t hurt but, for me, it hurts only a little for a bit and then it gets better and I can still enjoy fully my friendship. If I still have my best friend, then I’m happy. I totally understand tho that some people can’t be comfortable with these situations like I am But thank you for this one, it’s reassuring to know that there isn’t only one person who can do that and not make things weird for no reason Y’all take care and stay safe alright?

~my RSD would have ended that, unfortunately. Soft left downs, silent let downs, ghosting letdowns, the "you deserve better" or "you don't deserve that"... its like "but we could still be friends" while knowing the other person's feelings aren't going to change and feeling strung along facing the rejection everyday and enduring pain, but putting on a smile and faking being okay or happy just so you don't lose them and so they don't feel bad. Good audio, just way too familiar.~
