One thing I forgot to point out is that I also have a fuel analyzer kit by Fuel-It. Very easy to use & definitely recommended for accurate Ethanol blends. You can see it next to the intake on the driver side (right side when watching the video) at the 5:54 mark.

About to pull the trigger on an m6 coupe love the 2door v8 have seen a few low mile under 50k miles for less then 43k very very clean cars was looking into m4s forgot the m6 existed till about 4 weeks ago lol I think I’ve watch every video out there on KZfaq m6 related 😅

Been following your build(s) for awhile and this is 100% the set up I plan to run on my M6 in the future. I was wondering though, what oil do you run? During oil changes do you see any flakes of metal? Thank you for this upload !

Thanks for following, man. I run Motul Sport 5W-40. I never seen metal flakes in the drained oil but I do plan to add a magnetic drain plug when I change the oil in the Spring.

@@FJF2007 haha yea it will be worth it in the end. Currently finishing my e60 which will be twin turbo.. it’s currently straight piped. Did buy an eisenmann for when everything is finished. The m6 would be my next year project car. With everything going electric it’s up to us to keep petrol engines alive 🙌🏼. Again your m6 is the nicest build I’ve seen. It’s just perfect 🔥

Correct, I’m running the sport springs. VTF version is cool too if you want to dial in your height to a specific level, but the drop w the sports is perfect for me.

Nice video and car I have a m5 competition with a few of the same mods so that thump when changing gears is normal? I have a diff brace and xhp DME tuned stage 1 how many miles do you have? Do you really need to have the transmission serviced bmw is telling me not to do it. Thank you

Thanks. Not so much a thump. The gears just really “snap” and u feel it in the back of the seat but it still all feels seamless. Some ppl report thumping and clunkiness but that could be due to improper install of the brace or high miles on the rear diff/bushing. I just have 28k miles on my car so I won’t need to do any trans service throughout my ownership.

You still on the stock clutches in the DCT or have you upgraded them? How many miles you been driving with the DCT tune?

Yup, stock clutches. I put about 3.5k miles on the car since installing the stage 3 DCT tune.

eBay seller is jcsportline...I'm pretty sure there's a different fit for GC vs Coupe. Definitely different for Vert's so just a fyi.

When u have the tips in more, they essentially disappear as the diffuser takes all of the attention. Plus, I wanted the “Meisterschaft” font to be present. Flows well in person. As you can tell, I think about every detail from multiple angles, ha. Thanks, though.

Does ceramic coating the wheels actually keep most of the brake dust off of them? On my 2015 M5 Comp I had to clean them every other day

It doesn’t keep the brake dust off but it makes it a lot easier to clean. A ceramic pad would be what you’d want to swap out for.

Appreciate it, man! My best was 7.4 on e30 without spraying meth. Plan to spray and run e35/40 to see what it can do. Traction can start to become an issue, though.

@@issa_brap yup ure spot on w the weight. Its the high pressure fuel pumps that could start to have issues under too much E content. I monitor mine periodically through MHD and it’s always been in the appropriate PSI, though. My tuner has tested his personal car w the tune up to 10gal of e85 (approx e60 mix) and they held up. But I doubt that would last long term.

@@issa_brap Yeah, both seem like solid turners. I went with mission performance tuning. The owner Alex is extremely knowledgeable about tuning and the platforms he specializes in (not many). Mainly BMW and supras. Worth reaching out to pick his brain.

I'm not sure of the cost to remove/put back on the calipers as it was factored in to my total bill. It did cost $500 to get the calipers powder coated, though.

It’s a very solid system. It does takes some time adjusting the equalizer to best suite ur desired audio, though.

Sprayed*? I put a competition badge on a competition car, if that’s what u mean? And prismatic gold is not the color used by bmw for their ceramics. This is dark gold. There’s is light. Also..competition cars don’t by default have ceramics…

Tough call as u could really go any direction being blacked out. Personally I would go for some sort of gold or..to be a little unique I would chase down Porsches ceramic yellow paint code and go that route.

You could look into the Meisterschaft GTC axle back system. It has valve controls via a remote. I’d start there if you don’t want it too loud. You can always add to it in the future if ever you decide you want more sound.

Tbh I never pay attention to the mpg. I believe the last time I seen it it was about 12mpg lol. Personally I would not get one of these cars with 100k miles. IF you do, be sure to take it to BMW prior for a full PPI.

My wheels/tires are all OEM 20” specs..Nothing was changed. Only thing I added was 12mm spacers to the rear.

On kill mode it made 748whp on a hub dyno (e40+ WMI). I only run e30 now so I'd say it's probably 720-730 whp. BHP depends on what % one would use for DT loss. 10-15% and you're definitely at 800+. I've raced 850hp hellcats and won by a car and half for reference.

hey, i have a f13 M6, i just did a stage one tuned with Carbahn Autoworks from california, and not too long after i ve been driving with it, and the drivetrain malfunction poped up, which never happened before, So, i brought it to the shot that did the tune for me, they diagnosed it and said it was the O2 sensors, i replaced them all and today, i floored the gas, it was like the third gear, and the rpm goes to like 7--9000rpms and guess what, the drivetrain malfunction popped up again. seriously, that was heart breaking bro, i mean we are having same engine, I JUST NEED SOME HELP, I M SOOO frustrated by this malfunction brua.

Sorry to hear that man. But first things first, these cars should never be ran to 9k rpm’s. Thats just asking for a rod to bend ($$). Usually if u get those drivetrain codes after a tune it’s spark plug related. Upgrade to NGK with the proper gap per your tuner. Or, switch tuners altogether.
