@@emeraldcitycarpenter yeah Scott was his name, not sure where I got Vance 🤣. He did a great job, wish he would of did a 6th great pull when he did my bike though. My 124 made 143 in 5th gear.

Brandon Moseley it goes like a son Of a bitch! It made 109hp and a 113ft lbs. torque comes on hard between 2500 and 3000 rpm, it goes from just under 100ft lbs up to 110. The tuner turned the o2 sensors off below 3000rpm, they basically will never come on unless I’m cruising over 3000 rpm. Which probably is costing me some gas mileage but I still seem to be getting almost 40mpg. It drinks gas a lot faster now when I’m using the power than it did stock. It runs great, I took a heavier passenger for a ride last night and it was fine. I usually ride solo. Fuel Moto got a lot better low end torque with s&s mufflers and their header, the M8 likes back pressure. This pipes baffle is a little big for this cam but I love how it sounds and looks, and I’m probably going to do a big bore later. If you want a fast and loud Harley this is the setup, if you want to cruise around between 2500-3500 rpm I’d do something different.

Unruly Biker you’re making a lot of assumptions there my friend, simple Fact of the matter is that air cooled twins are what the American market likes. Sticking with the more traditional engines has won Harley over half the American market to themselves. The FTR is a sport bike, it’s not a touring bike so I don’t know why you’re even comparing the two. It has like a 2 gallon fuel tank for fucks sake.

Mike Hernandez it was tuned at the localHarley dealer with a power vision, the D&D isn’t the best for cam only bikes. I’m doing a big bore eventually with a different cam and didn’t wanna have to change pipes. I’d get the S&S pipe if you have the 465. You’ll love that pipe it makes lots of torque.

HDstreetshark I have the 465 and really love the sound with the d&d. I lost a lot of low end with the slim line duals. I do plan on going to a stage 3 or 4 in the year. You think this exhaust with 465 would do well. I mainly ride solo and love to ride 3500-4500rpm and like to get on it a lot

Mike Hernandez any exhaust is better than true duals. The D&D is a bad ass pipe.

HDstreetshark appreciate it yea that’s what I’ve been told. That was one of the few exhaust that came out when they made the 17s and had to get some noise behind the bike lol. Yea I’m looking a lot into the D&d also what tuner you using.

Jeremy Pickle the cam makes the bike like twice as loud. You’ll like it, it’s a little soft down low but pulls hard past 2800 and really has a nice roar to it. I’m doing an S&S 124 pretty soon

@@kylemoore9626 I'm thinking I'll be going 124 next winter I've watched tall travelers build using zippers 124 kit which has the rs472 cam and it's a monster 130hp 150tq.

Jeremy Pickle that’s a great setup, when you start comparing what comes in the different kits for the prices though it’s pretty tough to beat S&S. They’re all about the same price but S&S comes with an oil pump and cam plate. You could even buy the S&S kit and buy a different cam if you didn’t wanna run their 550 cam and still be money ahead. The S&S kit makes like 130-140hp and 140tq, I know a few guys running it.

@@kylemoore9626 yeah I like the S&S kit but now that I'll already have the whole cam chest compartment done up probably just go with the cheapest reputable 124 jug kit. really hoping S&S comes out with some aftermarket heads for the M8 like they have for the TC and EVO
