I accept ARR has to take accountability. But blaming him as scammer isn't acceptable. He done many concerts for many things, cancer patients, lightman,..... Also many sanghis using this opportunity & trying to cancel AR Rahman because he is Muslim.

I have been to ARR concerts in London and Bangalore more than 10 years ago. Both of them were unique in their own. The London one was in O2 arena and It was an indoor venue. At Bangalore it was an open venue and it was pouring down. Instead of cancelling, ARR came out in the rain and sang for almost an hour in rain as he got drenched along with the audience. This fiasco is to be blamed entirely on the organisers. Calling ARR a SCAM artist is completely unacceptable. It may be the case that the organisers did not convey the full issue to ARR to save their asses. Could be a reason for the slightly weird apology from ARR. I am all in for concerts but they have to be organised well. Blaming the artist as a scammer is pure vanmam!!

I can even add some more points coming from a playback singer's family myself, when you mentioned about deva's concert that even the selection of singers are not completely in the control of the music director and in the hands of event co-ordinators where despite the availability of singers who have actually sang it on record aren't being invited to sing and given to people who are on the spotlight currently and the dip in quality of such concerts are stark! Although I am not cynical about this evolution I just would like to highlight the fact that stranglehold of event managers are so high that blaming the people on whose name the concert is being conducted can be quite harsh. And for sure I am not invalidating any of those people who faced such terrible conditions during the event

I agree with everything that you said. Both the organisers and ARR is responsible for this mishap. Only thing is using this as an opportunity there are lot of people who are targeting ARR(so called sangis). We should only defend ARR from those illiterates.

I was there at the venue, there was no security anywhere literally, one police guy and two event guys to control 100s of people in general entry, which seemed so intentionally done. And yes I heard many girls crying in crowd and some started to literally fist fight the men near them. And traffic was wow and while returning back we found VIP entry, it was just on the entry road, if they had swapped vip and normal entry problem would have been solved, but the road had VIP houses so again planned to prevent vip's street and their cars. You were right AR could have just checked and spoke in mic, please return back home or please come in carefully or put extra speakers outside smtg. But I believe if info had reached his ears, he would have done it.

Small piece of suggestion, there are music systems that are audiophile grade available in the market .. they are very expensive and needs proper room acoustics... but nothing can match the experience....and the best part is its accessible & safe. Please don't risk personal safety for thrill. Btw ...Big fan of AR, I listen to his tracks in my home set up all the time....and he is accountable for this mess

Can't blame the public outcry. Things went wrong were they had no ticket verification at entry, poor parking arrangements, plus arranged permission, security, and sound arrays for just 25000 crowd, sold 40000 tickets but attendance was 80000. 🤣 total fuck up of all time. Here in Coimbatore we had similar but lesser issue. Also crowd was more civilized and disciplined in my opinion. We had no problem enjoying the concert except for that bigass tall media centre and recording booth right in front of the stage. ARR had his own concert you know the sufi one for lightmen saving fund. That was so well organized indoors with limited seats. This recent mess and cacophony had nothing to do with ARR but that tweet set fuel to fires.

I can remember upphar cinema hall run by ansal brothers, the cinema hall met with fire accident due to short circuit, many peoole lost their lives... The fire started due to faulty wire why ansal brothers were arrested instead of wire company A. R. Rehman, organiser should own responsibility not tell that you are scape goat

Police missed to take action at the right time. They have informed the crowd numbers based on the tickets they sold. Police should have checked all the entry tickets. So that they could know the black /unauthorized entry's. This issue cause of Black tickets. And most of the fake ticket people came earlier and occupied the seats. Whatever may be, Gurubai - get well soon.
