Keema Kaleji is a rich curry dish prepared with two basic ingredients: minced meat and kaleji which is the liver part of the meat. It is a good option over regular chicken or mutton with bone or boneless dishes. This dish can be served for parties and small gatherings and with a different non-vegetarian taste, is liked by all. You can make it fairly easily home using traditional Indian spices for that perfect taste. Ideally, you may want to accompany it with naan or paratha, however, it can go well even with other Indian slices of bread.
Ingredients for Making Mutton Keema Kaleji Recipe
Mustard Oil - 1 Laddle
Mutton - 500 gms
Kaleji - 150 gms
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Cinnamon - 1
Mace - 1
Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Cloves - 1/2 tsp
Black Cardamom - 3
Green Cardamom - 5
Star Anise - 1
Whole Red Chillies - 3
Bay Leaf - 2
Green Chillies - 5
Ginger Chopped - 1 Tbsp
Garlic Chopped - 1 Tbsp
Onions Chopped - 5
Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp
Salt - 1 Tsp
Meat Masala - 1 tsp
Curd - 2 Tbsp
Water - as required
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Roasted Fenugreek Leaves - 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves - a few
