Hehe thanks Mithra-man ;) For Inestine:Well, to do that you have to: - Have a Bluetooth enabled PC. - Link Wiimote to the Bluetooth manager of your PC (press 1+2 on Wiimot and detect new accessories in your bluetooth manager) - Install GlovePie. - Download scripts for GlovePie - Have fun. - Save world.

Wiimote is a quasi-standard Bluetooth controller. If you press both the 1 and 2 button on the Wiimote at the same time you could make it detectable and link it with your bluetooth PC. Of course you'll be unable to use Wiimote unless you install GlovePie (the driver for Wiimote) and the script(s) you want to use... And that's all :)

What u see in the videa is true, U can try it at home since we released the script! (The Wiimote is linked to PC, not the Wii!) The transmitter?! The Wiimote is a Bluetooth device! :) (Radio transmission not IR!) Oh just a simple way to know that I'm not bluffing on the video: just check the Wiimote lights... There's not way to obtain this light animation with a Wii! (The light anim is part of our script ;)

I mapped the Wiimote's "1" button with CTRL macros (u just select with right/left) and "2" for ALT macros :) Just like playing FFXI with a regular keypad! ;)

Yeah FFXI exists on ps2, but it's true that it's hard to find outside USA, (since it's an expensive bundle with ps2 hard disk, etc..)

No it's quite easy :) The only tricky thing is the first-person-view / camera view change ... ;) But yeah you're definitely more efficient with a keyboard! :D

i think i would find that very difficult. i'm glad i'm on pc when i'm playing ffxi

I have to say... that is amazing! But it looks like it would dull the ability to hit commands... and being as lanky as it is... I would assume it's annoying to put down to type.. But I digress... I have never used this at all for FFXI so I wouldn't know.

Nah this is pretty simple shit, if he could move the character by moving the controller and not the stick that would be better, or if he could select the menus like using the mouse, i think ill stick with my xbox controller + ffxi pc =p

no it isent genius..you can use any controller on a PC...I played FFXI with a PS2, PS3, Xbox, 360, even a joystick controller...learn your facts before you call someone a liar..
