He's right, it doesnt matter what gear you use, but it also depends on what you want to achieve, musically speaking. But a good guitar will give you comfort, reliability and versatility. An expensive guitar will give you all of the prior assets plus the possibility to get a warm and complex sound.

Despite the goofs there's a lot of truth here. The end product is what matters far more than the quality of the gear it takes to get there. Buying more stuff gives you more options, it doesn't make you sound better

@jaketupitza6303
@jaketupitza6303 8 жыл бұрын
Because he's currently on tour and that would take an extensive amount of guitar repair. I would be surprised if he doesn't even attempt to fix it when he gets home.
@imrippingthefuckingheadoff
@imrippingthefuckingheadoff 8 жыл бұрын
Jake Tupitza Well, as a quick fix while touring, it would be a smart idea to just get a new guitar, so I understand that, But for when his tour is done, all he has to do is order a new body because you can't fix something like that. He dropped $4000 dollars on the vintage Strat so I don't think he'll just get rid of what's left. If I were him I would either order a new body or try to put the vintage neck (assuming it's a 4 hole) on the Squier body and putting the better, vintage electronics in it.
@brunozapaterparreno8760
@brunozapaterparreno8760 8 жыл бұрын
It can be fixed bro. It can even end being stronger than before the repair. Most instruments are made from several pieces of wood glued together, so a body splitting in two pieces, while being hard, is not impossible to fix. And for a 1970 strat body, it is worth it.

It will be a 3 bolt neck. No worries. I'd glue the body if it were me but buying a new one is a cheap quick and easy fix if you have a screwdriver and soldering iron you can strip and refit in an hour or so no worries.
