If you only enjoy artist if their “chops” pass some kind of muster that must be pretty miserable. It’s reasonable to like music that isn’t technically difficult or epic compositions. BTW I don’t even like Mac demarco (don’t dislike him), couldn’t name a single song but I think that was a fairly good lead
@justinlove71853 жыл бұрын
@@onesixfive Some people need a little more in there music, sometimes listening to music with only "one speed" gets boring. Great music doesn't always have to have great chops, personally I think a cool song with some serious chops makes the music a bit more exciting. This video is kind of like reverse inspiration, his playing doesn't inspire me to play because it's good it inspires me to play because I know there's many ways to make this sound better.
@selliantuttimusi67353 жыл бұрын
What are you talking about? Musical chops (musicality) is the ONLY thing that matters in music. Through this solo, Mac is showing excellent musicality. This solo to me is just perfect in any sense, he is playing the right notes with the right timing, in the most soulful way. And this is not coming from a fanboy, just from a passionate (25 years) guitar player. I just discovered him a few days ago
