to me Fredette and Pritchard don't have much in common with Mac other than them being smallish white guards - PP is an average NBA athlete and true point guard that looks to pass first and Fredette is a deep shooter with limited athleticism that couldn't defend NBA players. McClung's an elite college athlete who will be an above average to elite NBA athlete, and that right there puts him on a different level of potential than either of those other two guys. most of us have a hard time separating players' games from the way they look, so McClung is gonna get compared to every undersized white dude people can think of, but if you watch him play, he's different athletically and style-wise than pretty much every other white guard prospect we've seen in the last 30 years. Nobody, not Donte DiVicenzo, Grayson Allen, Bob Sura, etc has had quite the same overall package of quick twitch explosiveness, strength, body control, and killer mentality this guy has. He plays more like guys like Steve Francis, Monta Ellis, or a poor man's Westbrook.

He had a nba slam dunk contest package he was doing in high school games and could drill threes. You must be crazy.

I don't know about that. I look at him and think he could if he had a good number 1 to work with. Like John Stockton had with the mailman. Or he straight up grinds and comes out like a Steve Kerr. That's where I think his potential could land him. I hope someone has there eye on him for the next draft sooner rather than later. Big fan and have been watching since his highschool mixes. Go Mac!

Well you are just completely wrong. He has a very slim chance at the NBA. Doesn’t have a position. Inconsistent shooter. No length for defense and is just ok at college defense. He will have a very good overseas career.

I have to agree. He will need to have better court awareness and IQ on where to pass. He could learn alot from watching how lamelo ball has been doing it so effortlessly.

EVERYONE SAID THE SAME THING ABOUT FRED VAN FLEET. BUT WE ALL KNOW THE HATERS WERE WRONG. VAN FLEET IS 6' AND ONE OF THE BEST GUARDS IN THE LEAGUE. MCCLUNG PLAYS JUST LIKE VAN FLEET. HE'LL BECOME A SMALL GUARD SUPERSTAR JUST LIKE VAN FLEET WHOM I THINK IS ONE OF THE MOST DYNAMIC AND EXCITING PLAYERS.
