He's actually playing the guitar which alot of people don't realize. He was an amazing musician, cover or not. He wasn't just a rapper.

Just found this less than a week ago because of my friend showing it to me, keep in mind it’s 2024 and Mac’s aura is still special (yes I know it’s a cover but the way he sings this is absolutely astonishing). Me being a big, BIG fan since i first heard K.I.D.S, been blasting every single song ive ever came across.. now me and the woman of my dreams were having a date not too long ago and the First Day Of My Life tune was on there. we dived into the song as it made her tear up hearing it as it suits our situation. fast forward a month and i get the notification on reddit that this song exists. man i couldn't be more sure that this is Mac working the universe for us.! Love you Mac, miss you every single day!
