The Mac Mini 2011, only 'officially' supports a maximum of 8Gb RAM, but this video shows that it can indeed support 16Gb, as found by others too. The upgrade is easy, on the Crucial website, the modules are guaranteed to be compatible and work with your Mac Mini Late 2011.
