MAC vs FLOWMASTER fox body (Which one do you like!)

I’m going to drive both of these #ford #foxbody mustangs. Let me know what you all think about the two mufflers. Rose, the red one has #Mac Pro dumps. And Sally, the strawberry car has #flowmaster . #mustang #smallblockford #smallblock

Very nice video, man! So tired of the cold start videos. This right here is how it should be done. I miss my Fox bodies. Had 5 Mustangs and 3 Fairmonts through the years.

Flow master by far you can not beat there sound they are the best mufflers man I'm telling you when it comes to extra horse power and sound there's only one and it's Flow Master but nice cars love em

They don't call them blowmasters or flowbastards for no reason. There are mufflers that flow better, sound better, and make more power than those pieces of shit. They sound like a tin can on any car.

Nice cars for sure. Mac setup sounds better to me. What Flowmaster is on the other car?? My 90 gt has bbk shortys, bassani off road x and super 44 flows. It sounds like most of the sound is under the car. It has tail pipes too. I like the volume of sally with the flos. Its louder than my 44 flos. Great video man

Very nice comparison! I'm partial to the MAC exhaust as I've had two complete systems on my '83 Fox since '91. First system had cats as required by TX law but I upgraded in '18 to X pipe and Flow Path mufflers. I love the sound and performance but was surprised to find that MAC closed up shop. I was lucky to get my system before they closed. Keep up the good work!

Mac has always been the god of mustang exhaust and was proven/tested to net you around 3 up more than flowmasters. Mac is and always will be the best sounding mustang exhaust to ever exist!

Mac sounds good with a car with a good camshaft. Your dads car had Macs on it. Very good video of sounds too Dez. I do like both. Mods help out alot to the sound. I have Mangnaflows on mines now.

Had a 92 vert years ago with full Mac exhaust. Sounded so sweet. Just picked up a super nice Mac cat back for my 90 GT. Too bad Mac went out of business

Sounds good I wanna put a cam in mines everyone say doing do it unless you doing all of it heads and intakes also but I don’t wanna get rid of the factory style upper intake

I think if that’s what you want to do then do it. The burgundy car is cam only except it has gt40 intakes and it sounds good as you can see

@@CarswithDez yea it does soun good I ordered bunch of parts they all came in under drive pulleys doing the smog delete electric fans shorty headers taking the factory H pipe off found another 1 with no cats and doing the whole rear end 373 axles something bout 28 spline to 31 differential lock new drums wasn’t supposed to do all that but heck with it hope I can see a little difference

Awesome video , been banging gears in these Mustangs since 85 ! I gave my son my 88 GT to pump him up & kept my 5.0 Lx for myself so we could hang out & have some fun , he Rather drive a Honda instead 🤔 Its still sitting here ! Think I'm just gone sell it ! Just wondering, what series flowmasters are those? Cause i had a 93 foxbody with no cats an x pipe with super 44 series flowmasters and that shit sounded alot like those macs ur brothers running. So if u have trouble finding the macs then give the 44s a try bro i think youll like them alot. Both those stangs sound beautiful to me but the macs would be my pick of the 2.

My boy has a Notchback with headers and flowmaster. I will be doing a video on his car the next weekend it's nice.. He made that car beautiful he went all out on handling and the looks of the car.. And it makes great power too.. It sounds great.. Sounding Great and sounding loud are 2 totally different things.. It's all a matter of taste I guess but I would run the tips out the back it's a better look.. But for real I'm big on the Flowmaster because it's not as loud.. I love Mustangs but the Foxbody was the one that was out when I was a kid. My other friend had a 88 white GT. That car is Iconic for sure. It owned the 80's and first half of the 90's as far power and bang for buck back then...

Im torn. I like the deeper sound on flows, but I really like the set-up on the first whip you have, it sounds a lot more "throaty". The only thing I feel that it's just a hair too raspy. But honestly youre gonna get a lot of different opinions depending on the viewer bases on their speaker.

Personally I like The flowmaster better but Mac would definitely for sure be my second choice over any other muffler

Your car sounds more choppy. Sally got that deeper flowmaster sound to it. Both sound great though.

Yeah your ride would sound killer with flows own it those Flowmaster just sound good just my opinion I'm kind parcels I've had em on all my rides for the longest guess I'm use to hearing that awesome throaty sound they give but over all both rides sound good no doubt 💯 ✌️
