Mac Screen shots are Option, Shift and 3. Option Shift and 4, plus the spacebar and a mouse click, does a window. As I recall, you can make a pdf on Windows by triggering the Print menu: by hitting CTRL and P.

I personally believe doing most basic things in Ubuntu are simpler to do (such as making a document assuming you have libre office preinstalled) would be simpler than using a Mac as it's so similar in work flow to windows for basic tasks.

About the screenshots: For Mac: CMD + Shift + 4/3 4- Allows you to size the picture like with the snipping tool on Windows. 3- Captures your entire screen. For Windows: Windows Key + Shift + S **You can also just search "Snipping Tool" in the Windows search bar.

Oh i recognize this from my previous job. Customer support job, i was the only one with a PC just the way i like it. My boss upgraded everyone to mac but i told him i cant do my job on a damn mac so i remained on the PC. Until the PC broke and i had to use the mac for a few days. Literally apologized to the customer on the phone and told him its taking a while to find his order in the system because im on a mac and nothing is working like it should. And the customer on the line said: "i feel you bro".

It depends on the perspective: Taran on FC would be for an ease of use test while Taran on AP would be for an efficiency and speed* test.

if you want a screenshot in windows. you nees to click PrtSc. if you want to record a screen in windows, you need to click Win+G and then you will see an option.

Whipster Gaming idk they both have their purposes, windows is good for games and weird stuff like chiptune, and mac os... well... it has logic pro x and i have to use it for school so :p i’m more used to windows’ interface and shortcuts since i grew up with it but there are things i like about mac os that i miss when i go back to windows, things like the system stability/optimization and unmatched touchpad right now my answer would be windows, but mac os grows on me the more i use it honestly though they’re very similar, unless you have some kind of specialized thing that requires that you use a certain OS

I always use PC mouse on my Macs because being unable to right click is like trying to do manual labor without a thumb... With PC mouse that you can right click with you can work a lot faster also on a Mac.

I like everything about the Magic mouse except the charger location. Is there a reason for it's current placement, really? Like come on. At least the battery lasts forever, and I just plug it in whenever I think about it anyway. Other than that, it takes plenty of getting used to, but is really handy after you do.

Ivan Monahhov It is security. Windows used to attempt this as well. I would rather that it asked permission and made sure that person had the rights to make that decision than any old app being able silently install/spy/ destroy your data. By anyone or any script that gets the chance.

Actually Linus, the more recent way to take a screenshot is with win + shift + s or print screen. Or you can use ctrl + print screen to copy all screens to the clipboard if you don't need to have a cropped screenshot. Snipping tool "is moving..." according to Windows. Although it's probably gonna be there for the next 10 years or so.

Command P is a print function, which works differently than a screenshot. Command P a webpage, you print the webpage if it allows you to. Screenshots are different.

I believe this "print fo file" option only allows to save the PostScript file (.ps) instead of sending it to the printer. It wouldn't help you generate a PDF unless you have a .ps to .pdf converter (like PDFCreator)

Nah, there should be a separate printer called "Microsoft Print to PDF", that is installed by default, but looks like LTT team uninstalled or borked it by mistake, though it's pretty easy fix - just open Windows' "turn features on or off" and in the list should be an option for PDF printer. "Print to file" option generates a PRN file specific to the driver and printer selected, AFAIK mostly for diagnostic purposes, not a PDF.
