@Higher Things she didn’t mean things in the physical sense. Not everything is about material things. He obviously looks troubled in this interview. One can have all the things in the world, but without the basic necessities, such as care and love and simply being treated like a human being - this is poor. One cannot have everything in life seemingly. Even the most wealthiest individuals can be described as poor in one regard or another. I would take love and care over physical things any day. Please consider this before telling someone to shut up in future. It is not very nice.

@@user-ri1vp4bq7y his dad was abusive, both physically and mentally. Mac even said he could show the scars if he wanted to. This interview is very uncomfortable. The reporter was very nice and kind to him, when Macaulay when he arrived and finished the interview did not say hello, he did not say goodbye to her either. As tired as you are, no matter how old you are, the education to say hello or say goodbye. I do not know if the child at that age already had a very big ego, but his energy from him and the fact that he did not say hello when he reached the reporter before starting the interview, did not leave me a good impression of him.

@@Grimlyu I don't think so, because the boy in some interviews was kind to other presenters and in this interview he was not. There is also another interview that I saw, where a reporter told him that she cried when he died in the movie My girl. And the boy said? did you really cry? and he made a face at her as if she was wrong to cry. I believe that good and bad attitudes happen at any age and that does not justify it. But now as an adult he is very friendly and smiling. I really like the person that he is now. The change a lot as an adult for the better. Thanks god.

@Katelyn Nicole To be honest in the 90s I never wanted to see the Home Alone movie. I remember how they repeated it many times on television and I thought it was a very silly movie. If I remember seeing My girl at that time and the other movie he did as a bad boy. And I liked them. But I never saw Home Alone. Now a few months ago in a pandemic I could finally see Home Alone and Home Alone Lost in New York. I was amazed at his great talent, charisma and personality as a child. My perspective of the change completely and now I have great respect, admiration and gratitude for him that with those films gave great joy to thousands of people and generations. That is why I was curious to look for interviews with him and most of the interviews he leaves very cheerful and happy, with a good attitude. But if I was sad to see two or three interviews like this, his attitude was very forced, serious, as you say, maybe tired, but that is not the fault of the interviewer. And it gave me even more sadness to see another interview of the movie My girl. The reporter tells him that she cried when he died in the movie. And Macaulay made a mocking face of her. And it is like seeing the tender and charismatic child of the movies and seeing him in real life in these interviews breaks the charm. It is a disappointment. But now as an adult he is very friendly and smiling. I am happy to see that and see that he has a family and he is very happy.
