I was taught about the uselessness of labels from a young age. My mom didn't have a 🚗 like other teachers. She had her own home in a good area and had no debt. I learned alot from her. I don't wear labels, I wear what I think looks good. I like quality especially for sports wear but labels don't always mean quality. I value myself and white people have a problem with me because I don't give them respect purely based on their skin. I treat them like any other human. I'm vegan because I respect my body and health. People think you're poor if you don't eat meat 🙄... I could go on and on... Black people have a long way to go. What's good is being conscious. At least Zakes is highlighting behaviours and psychology. It's up to each individual to introspect.

Levels of maturity mshana👌, "instead of talking about bums, let's use this platform to educate each other". I watched his interview with Dj Sbu, well informed. Its so refreshing to hear a South African who recognises that the world does not only revolves around SA, but that they could be alot of things achieved if Africans (blacks) worked together.

True coz everyone else talks about corruption as if it’s a disease but really it’s one of the symptoms of generations of poverty, lack of resources, lack of finances and desperation.

This is powerful🙌🙌🙌, I think this is the type of "woke" that we should strive for. Very insightful and forces one to think critically about issues we are currently battling with as South Africans. I learnt so much from Zakes' reasoning capacity. I give it to him, guy is intelligent 🙆‍♀️👏👏👏👏

Removing them is not enough, we have to teach them a lesson so that the ones who follow , don't engage in the same cycle. Kodwa angazi sbali

I think removing them is not enough if we only going to replace them with people who think exactly like them. If you put someone in power who has been broke all his/her life, they going to feed themselves and their families. We need to be rehabilitated mentally so that we fit for power. If I get power right now and knowing that it won't last forever I will take care of myself and mine.

Wow! What an amazing interview. I was in tears when he spoke about his brother and sister who are graduates but are unemployed cause no one opened doors for them. His mother did all she could to try and instill the importance of having an education, which is ridiculed by most people and i'm glad Zakes continues to emphasize it. He is dynamic because of education background coupled with his experiences. MacG and team thank you for the good work.
