I feel you man, someone hit and ran my 2022 GT, it was 6 months old with 4k miles on it. No cameras. Took off the front bumper and is at caliber collision now. It's devastating to have someone "ruin" something you love and worked hard for, especially something as expensive as a new car

When I saw the video you posted, right after this happened, I estimated between $7500 and $8000 in damage. I forgot that you hade PPF applied after the egg incident, so that $11k in damage estimate isn't a surprise to me. Glad that it will be back and good as new.

Bro, I feel you pain. My wife had a lil accident in our Tahoe couple weeks ago and I told them I only want OEM parts. Bruh new headlight 1400, hood 1200, bumper, fender, internal damage total came to 7800 bucks without labor. 😳

Bro I feel your pain!! I got in my first crash in my 2015 mustang gt pp1 because of a lady not checking her blind spot. She damaged practically everything on the passenger side and I had to get the entire passage side re painted, rims recoated, new gt500 front bumper, splitter, and a new side mirror. My car is competition orange so when you said that it feels like everyone is looking at the car driving it to the shop was so relatable 😂I haven’t driven my car in a little over a month. We are just now waiting on the decals then will be ready to go! The process definitely sucks but everything happens for a odd reason. Can’t wait to see the Mach 1 back in action!! 📈

Hello sir, I completely understand what you went through. I have a red 2006 Maserati that was hit by a beer truck, then a brand new Ferrari 458 at the dealership, then, some one backed into me and the cherry on the Sundae…a drunk driver in my parking garage while I was in the car…..the drunk driver that hit me going 5 mph caused $25k in damage…I am by no means bragging at all….when you have a nice car like your Mustang, you want it fixed correctly…especially if you sell it….annnnnd not to mention the negative value in the car…but you already know about that. Auto body repair is good every where. The paint matching is the challenge; especially on unique paints and silvers!!! Really like the C-63. I had one for a few years. Getting 10 miles per gallon in the city really sucked, so I sold it and replaced it with an Audi RS4. My wife drives it. On our 5th one, amazing car!!! Prolly another Uhaul hit that pole, and damn. When i was rear ended in my 2014 f150 it was estimated 4,200k that wasn't even including my aftermarket exhaust system.

MAKE SURE the color matches between the front bumper and hood/front fender.. i had paint work done on my 2017 and the color didn't match. The repair shop said that paint looks different when painting on plastc compared to metal. I was so mad!!

Who did the estimate company wise….out of curiosity. My insurance gave me crash champions and they did amazing work when I smashed up the front of my focus st….damn deer. My factory Hid’s were $1,500 a piece. 😬bumper, hood, fender, headlight and some other pieces and paint came out to $9,900.00.

Why blend it? Why not just get the original paint code with oem paint instead of having to have them mix the paint to get the closest color. The only thing that may be off is the plastic front bumper cause they need to add a flex additive for plastic parts. I just feel like it’s something that’s going to bother you each time you see it. Of course only you’ll be able to see it but other will never likely see it

Sorry to hear but it's time to move into a single family home. Your own garage, peace of mind, etc. I know the market sucks right with the rates and inventory but it's worth it at the end of the day. You can refi your rate when they go down and you'll have equity in your home. On the bright side, you can make content from the home search too. 😂 Good luck to you!
