It’s great but in future might help to have back and top have different fabrics so we can tell what you are doing. Many people stitch binding to back and flip to front not front to back.

It looks like when you use the binding foot that you have the mitered corner thickness on the same side compared to the manually mitered corner you reversed the thickness of the mitered corner.
