I honestly though MGK was whack up until his Hotel Hell album and his last couple punk pop albums. Dude has some serious talent and has some hits, and he is a phenomenal live performer. Jack Harlow and MGK were once BFFs (look up MGK doing a “what’s poppin” freestyle to Jack harlow’s beat in 2020. Seems “they don’t love it” is then friends became friends. They don’t love it was a reference MGK made in an interview when he almost gave up on music. That he “lost his love for music and has to find it again.”

This is a move by the record labels to keep Jack Harlow relevant. They know he is falling off and all the money they spent on him hasn’t been recouped. So they got MGK and jack to start a beef which is beneficial for both their careers because ppl that weren’t checking for them, will be checking for them now.
