Thanks for the video! Went down from Auckland to have a look at the show and the truck racing. Also had a look at the Mack 50 Year double volume book set...those guys have done an amazing job and the fact we have been able to purchase for the original quoted $200 is simply unbelievable! If that set went to general retail you would be paying double that...easily! Thanks to all the Mack owners for bringing these beauties out for us to enjoy!

I love the old R model Mack's, they're not only easy on the eye but were (or are) a real work horse and money maker. Cheers to you Will and love the vids.

Will you should follow the trucks up the kai Mai to the lookout just to give an idea of what the climb is about start at the bottom going up then camera down from look out

What kind of Mack is at 2.02? Looks more European.

A Renault Premium. Both Mack and Renault Trucks are owned by Volvo, and as a result, some Renaults were rebadged as Macks in Australasia.

@@willbishoptrucksnewzealand3826 this would occur in America, but it was for a different Renault... The Midlum would become the Mack MS in the early 80s til the early 2000s, when Volvo took over both Mack and R.V.I.
