This is the FULL version of Mackenzie Phillips song "The Rock" from Disney's So Weird.
A whimsical being is what I've always been, lurking far deeper than just here within. These numbers held hostage by forces unseen, no longer to doth, the light must be seen. Listen with your heart for they may not last long, use all your resources to save each and every song. Powers that be don't want you to know, that the faith that you keep can be a home for this show. I was in my early twenties when I first watched this disney show. I don't care who knows and who don't. I enjoyed so weird and it was a great show when it was on. It really is a shame that disney took it off.

Ahhhhh hitting me in my childhood! I was 12, 13, 14 when I watched this show and this was always one of my favorite songs and I never forgot that episode "Banshee". Intense episode and intense music. Altogether, though, Mackenzie Phillips' singing and portrayal of Molly Phillips, amazeballs! 👌🏽 Whoever edited this audio, a job well done! 👌🏽

The songs in this show r not Disney like, and that's most likely cause they weren't written by people who work at Walt Disney/Hollywood Records. Jon Cooksey (showrunner) wrote the lyrics, while an outside musician named Ann-Marie Montade worked on the melodies and compositions

This was the episode that gave me nightmares for weeks. Every sound outside my window with the smallest resemblance to that banshee cry left me sleepless so many times, yet the song itself was so comforting. Thank you for bringing back the best of my childhood.

I will NEVER get over the fact that we never got the season 3 that was planned, So weird was going full dark mode, all questions answered, Jacks reletnless skeptism would be revealed because he chose to come back to life to protect fiona, so his instict was to protect her, rebecca would have remembered jack, Fionas roots and the ring would have been answered and the finale, would have played the thee song as fiona walks through hell to save her father as fiona was chosen to prevent evil from tipping the scales of good and evil and not just for her but for THE ENTIRE universe, as the aliens also were dealing with demons, the alien that contacted fi also lost a parent young, Imagine how awesome "in the dakrness is the light" plays as "this girl walks through fire and ice " as hell fire is burning around her to get to her dad, season 2's original ending had fiona thinks she LOSES her dad FOREVER as he is taken off the roof and pushed down into the floor , Fiona is now in full depression mode next season and fights hard to figure everythign out, MAN DID THEY HAVE A PLAN, and the could have continued it in some way because every cast member was there but fiona, however disney said YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CONTINUE any storyline So .....we got a panther.

Simply the greatest tv show that ever existed in television history 💪💪💪💪🤘🤘🤘🤘the most underrated TV show ever, the most nostalgic thing that I ever witnessed, I can't even begin to tell you how amazingly great this show is from the greatest decade in the history of mankind, the late 90's into the early 00's, Disney Channel was so damn cool back then and they knew what they were doing when they made So Weird, there will sadly never be another show as great or equal to So Weird, there is a certain atmosphere or vibe about the show that I can't quite put my finger on it, whenever I watch So Weird I want to be transported into the actual show and stay their forever, I've never felt this about any tv show before, it's a one-of-a-kind show that everybody should experience

The year of my highschool graduation. I grew up on this show in my youth. I wish I could go back to those days to watch them when they came out brand new. Then I could do better than I did back then, but that is impossible and must live in the now.

Wow, best one I have seen that is filtered. I don't know how you got it, but thanks. Loved the show and everything within it. Wish I could go back to watch it all again and live through the episodes when they came on. I will not buy Disney +, Disney has fallen from where it has gone to, which breaks my heart knowing I will probably never get to watch this beautiful and fun show.

Oh hey, I'm actually the one who coined the phrase, "Rock on, keep the faith, and never give up on so weird" when I was a little bubba back in the day (I went by Jamie Jax back then). It's pretty neat seeing most of the phrase still being used in a thumbnail haha :)

My father was my mother's rock. He died during the coronavirus. He was a strong navy man. The coronavirus was a hard time for humanity. We push through which gives us strength. The rock is still within me. My father said much that was tough love. When he spoke it was an anchor of life. This is how God is too. Our rock for humanity is a stead fast cornerstone. My father whom is judge he has met mine when he met time. He was ready to see him. He took him and all i can say is time is within us all. You miss someone so much you some how speak to them words are carried to their owner. Call it angels if you will. Muse says it all when it is heart felt. Does anyone know the translation of the Irish (or Celtic...I don't know) chant and/or spell that she does at the end?

In Irish it's "An t-oileán seo, m’Éirinn féin" meaning "This island, my own Ireland". Scottish Gaelic would make it a smidge different, if you were to translate it. It seems she omits the t on t-oileán which makes it sound like a bit of a mish mash of both Gaelics, but it may just be an enunciation thing.

+Mary Andersen I wish, but considering that Disney Channel tries to pretend this show never happened, it's not very likely. I watched this show a few months ago, and it's a really solid show. I still can't believe Disney was able to have a show as dark as this on their network, it's truly awesome and underrated. Also, the songs are excellent and memorable. Fun fact, my whole life, I've always remembered the name of this show, but not the plot, so I'm glad I rediscovered it. It's so much better than that ANT Farm, Shake it Up, Austin and Ally, Jessie, K.C. Undercover, and Bunk'd crap

I agree with you on everything! Mackenzie Phillips is so talented, and I admire her so much for her role in this show because not only does she deliver such great songs, but her character is well-developed, and personally, I think Molly Phillips is one of the Disney Channel's strongest and most relatable female characters. It's stupid of Disney to try to act like this show didn't exist, because it was really great, and worth watching. It still is. :)

I sometimes wonder if Disney ever remembers that the Zoog era existed lol. Finding even an official mention of anything from the 1998-2001 era much less So Weird is impossible. They erased it from history.

I liked this one, Rebeccac, Love is Broken and the last song by Alex Johnson. I do not like change, but I was good with the recasting. I was just glad to get more seasons of it.
