Thank you The ring is a brace. Without the ring my thumb bends 90 degrees the wrong way and that hurts a lot.

Can this be made into just a ball shape. So the bracelet would have a ball and it would fit into other end which has a loop?

I don’t think it is possible to turn this into a ball shape. I wouldn’t know what to do with the yarns ends. Maybe you can make a Monkey Knot (with a marble inside) at the end of the bracelet.

That depends a bit on the thickness of the yarn. In the video I use thin yarn. The yarns where about 20 cm. When I use thicker yarn, I start with 40 cm yarns

How long are the threads before you fold them in half?

It depends a bit on how long you want your tassel to be. I start with 30 cm / 12 inch long yarns.

Raphael Stheven I make the tassel for a bag, so I use the same yarn as I use for the bag. In this video I used Scheepjes Sweet treat, this is very thin cotton. But I usually use Schachenmayer Catania, this cotton yarn has 125 meter per 50 gram.
