I'm thinking about doing this with a white cord and then paint by hand the colors of a lovebird feather (I have two lovebirds and I would love to make this with their colors)... does anyone here know if I can paint it with markers, or what kind of paint product do you recommend me? I work with linhasita cords, which are made of polyester. Thank you!

Oh I think you can paint by marker, or others but you should cover the finished product by nail polish without color, to protect it from dirty and keep the color longer. 😁

Can this be made with 1mm cord and what would be the required length for the thicker cord? Thanks.

You can use similar cord to instead. The length can adjust a little but it isn't too much.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to do this In reverse, starting from the bottom of the feather instead of the end? I want to use this in other patterns but want to make it hang down off of something

@@MACRAMETITA the feather has two ends, the stem and the tip (I can't think of better words for them, sorry) and your pattern begins at the tip and ends at the stem. I would like to use the pattern in a way that has to start with the stem for it to work, do you know if that is possible?

@@davestrider1060 I haven't try make by starting with the stem yet. I think if you start to make the tip, It's easier than you start with the stem. But you can give it a try!

Oh, questo è il cavo cerato in poliestere coreano da 0,5 mm. L'ho comprato al mercato vicino a casa mia. Penso che tu possa trovarlo in un negozio di artigianato o sul sito web online. Puoi anche usare un cavo simile a invece. Buona fortuna amico mio e saluti da me dal Vietnam. 😊

Oh I'm so sorry for that inconvenience. I don't have another video for this. You can try adjust the speed of the video slow down, I hope that can help you watch clearly. One again I'm sorry and I will try better in the next video.
